ENVIRONMENT AND ECOLOGY BUREAU (ENVIRONMENT BRANCH)
Post-Secondary Student Summer Internship [Salary: HK$11,500 per month]
General Requirements: (1) Applicants must be Hong Kong Permanent Resident studying in the tertiary educational institutions and not be studying in or have just completed their final year of study before the summer internship period commences; (2) Applicants’ subjects of study for the intern vacancy are specified at the Appendix I; (3) Applicants should be fluent in both Cantonese and English; and (4) Applicants should produce supporting document(s) (e.g. offer letter to the programme, student I.D. card with expiry date, etc.) issued by the appropriate authority of his/her tertiary educational institution indicating that he/she is not a final year student or his/her expected graduation date.
Internship Arrangement and Job Description: The successful applicant will be deployed to specific tasks according to the intern vacancy they applied as detailed in Appendix I. At the end of the internship, they will be required to give a presentation and submit a training report.

Employment Period: 7 July to 29 August 2025.
How to Apply: (1) Hong Kong students studying in local post-secondary institutions should apply through the Student Affairs Offices/Career Centres of their respective institutions. They are advised to note the deadlines set by the respective institutions. (2) In view of the time required in overseas mailing, overseas applicants should send their applications and supporting document(s) as mentioned in (4) of General Requirements above by email to the e-mail address stated below. (3) Applicants should indicate clearly the job code they intend to apply for on the column “Title of Intern Vacancy applied for” of the application form (Appendix II). (4) To facilitate communication, applicants are reminded to provide their E-mail address on the application form. (5) Applicants are required to submit an essay of around 400 words (either in English or Chinese) giving views and recommendations on the policies or promotion of environmental protection in Hong Kong. (6) Applicants are required to submit all required documents in a combined pdf file or a word file. Late applications and applications not accompanied by the required documents and essay will not be considered.
